    NORD-LOCK is a pair of washers with a wedge-locking action meeting DIN 25201, a unique method using tension instead of friction. The washers are installed in pairs, and come pre-assembled. They have radial teeth, and cams between the washers with an angle greater than the thread pitch of the bolt. When the bolt/nut is tightened, the NORD-LOCK washer is locked in place.
